Whether visiting the hotel for business or leisure, take some time to explore the wealth of recreational opportunities just minutes from the hotel.
Bowling & Billiards
Chill Bowl & Dine offers eight world-class bowling lanes, providing hours of fun with family, friends or colleagues. Drinks and snacks are served at the bar.
Trysil Golf
The Trysil Golf Course is just 200 metres away from the hotel and is open from mid-May through mid-October. This 18-hole, hilly course is surrounded by forest and rivers and provides an idyllic setting for a round with friends or colleagues.
StrateSKI Meetings
Combine StrateSKI meetings with activities that inspire and challenge in a new way. Radisson Blu Resort, Trysil offers a fantastic location at the foot of the Trysil Mountain with exciting activities year round. Bowling; FlowRider, an indoor surfing wave; ski in – ski out facilities; golf in – golf out; rafting; canoeing or paddling in the Trysil River; Trysil Challenge and other activities can be customised for each group.
Horse Sledging
Sledging tours are organised for trips through the picturesque Trysil wilderness. Guests will experience wonderful views, primeval forest, open spaces and much more. These trips take a brief stop for a fireside hot drink in a lavvo.
Horseback Riding
A wide variety of horse activities await guests searching for safe outdoor experiences that are also challenging. There are activities available for skilled and first-time riders, as well as for children and disabled guests. For those under 10, there are cosy Shetland ponies led by instructors.
Surfing
Try out the unique indoor surfing facility at the Radisson Blu Resort Trysil.
Elk Safari
Guided tours take visitors through beautiful surroundings with different types of forest, such as pine and birch, and elk sightings are guaranteed.
Spa & Wellness
The Spa at the Radisson Blu Resort Trysil invites guests to indulge their bodies, minds and souls with a relaxing massage or skin treatment. The Spa includes two relaxation areas for use before or after treatments. This area, located one floor below the nine treatment rooms, includes a hot-water pool, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam room and an aromatic Laconium to stimulate the senses.
Trysil Challenge
Trysil Challenge is an activity which suits all kinds of groups. It contains variable and exciting tasks. All teams get a rucksack with map, rules and tasks. Together participants will have to collect as many points as possible before the time runs out. Trysil Challenge is great for groups of 50 to 500 people.
Rafting
The river Trysilelva is especially well suited for rafting and other river activities with its relatively warm water. The stretch on which the rafting occurs is approximately 12 kilometres, with calm sections of the river in between the rapids. The actual time on the river is 2-3 hours, and the trip could end with a warm meal and coffee. The season is from May to September.
Paintball
Bring your company for an intensive and adrenaline-pumping session as "weekend warriors" at the wilderness camp Grasmo, south of Trysil. Equipment like paintball markers, jumpsuit and face masks will be provided, as well as plenty of bullets.
Rock Climbing
After an introduction to ropes, safety and climbing techniques, everyone tries climbing the rock. When the muscles start aching, the activity ends with a warm fire and grilled hot dogs. The season is May through September.
Native American Canoe Trip
The trip starts with a welcome by the chief to all the participants, who are given war paint and feathers. They embark on a leisurely canoe trip, and after paddling for about 10 kilometres, the group reaches the Grasmo Wilderness camp where different Native American competitions, such as archery, using a blowpipe with an arrow and lighting a bonfire, are arranged. The season is May through September.
High-altitude Course
The high-altitude course consists of different elements of balancing wires, trapezes, ladders and nerve-wracking challenges. At this course, guests can safely challenge themselves and their colleagues to perform acts like climbing to the top of a high pole only to jump and try to catch a trapeze six meters above the ground. The course is open from May through September.
